LFC Museum and stadium tour
When the new main stand at Anfield was opened in 2016 the LFC stadium tour underwent a major upgrade and it is now a must do experience when visiting Anfield.
We recently went on the tour to give our readers who are wheelchair users an insight in what to expect on the tour.
It is recommended to contact the stadium tours department in advance to let them know that you are a wheelchair user, this will enable them
to make sure that access to the lifts is available for you on your visit.
Liverpool are currently the FIFA World champions, champions of Europe and holders of the UEFA super cup and you can see all of these trophies in the museum which you enter at the end of the tour.
The entrance to the stadium tour is at the left-hand side of the Kop and it as its
own dedicated entrance. Here you book in with the
friendly LFC tour staff and you are then given an audio set which is available in multiple languages, this acts as your guide on the tour, although at every step of the way there are also very knowledgeable tour guides who give great insights into LFC.
After exiting the lift, you arrive in the new main stand at level 6 where you are met by a tour guide, you then watch a short welcome video narrated by Jurgen Klopp and his words really
epitomise what is to come on the tour, this is Liverpool Football Club, and this means more.
You then enter the level 6 wheelchair tribune area,
